Infusion Increase

Thank you to our team of early risers! So many of you have joined us by setting alarms for Monday mornings. These have been our weekly appointment mornings for infusions via Erin’s amnioport. These infusions supplement any low levels of fluid surrounding Baby. Last week, our doctor observed a very low level of fluid. This meant that we would spend the week evaluating Baby’s use of existing fluid. We gave him a larger than usual volume of fluid for the week. This morning, we observed again that fluid was very low. This means that it’s time for us to increase our frequency of weekly infusions. This feels like neither good nor bad news. This was to be expected as Baby continues to grow- and he is growing! This feels like one of our biggest encouragements right now. We have seen steady increases in his growth during scans and it feels so exciting to watch Erin’s belly grow constantly. We will be receiving official checks on his weight on a bi-weekly basis. From now on, we will be going in for infusions of fluid on both Mondays and Thursdays. Monday appointments will consistently be at 7:30 am EST. Thursday appointment times will be slightly varied, though always in the morning. For those of you that are joining us for these appointments, setting alarms, waking up, thinking of us on your commute, we are so grateful for you.
